Limited Warranty/Returns/Shipping/Price Protection

The following represent Akadema’s limited warranty on products.

This Warranty will not consider consequential damages, inconveniences, transportation costs or damages, duty or customs fees, or misuse of product. Akadema does not offer “money back guarantees”.

Warranty products will be handled with either a replacement, a repair or a refusal.

Prior to sending product back you must get a confirmation in writing from Akadema. You can do this by emailing us at: akadema@akademapro.com Please make sure you send a copy of your receipt . You may also include pictures if you feel this will help us diagnose the problem. Akadema’s commitment is only to the original owner and this ownership is not transferable.  Akadema does not accept receipts from unauthorized dealers selling on Ebay or other auction sites.

Akadema Bamboo bat composite:

30 Days – 1 Replacement only.

 

Catapult BBCOR Bat Warranty:

Akadema will provide a one-time bat repair or replacement within one year for qualifying bats from the date of purchase.  The guarantee covers breakage or cracking that result from normal usage. Abuse such as hitting metal cleats, rocks, or anything other than a ball can damage your bat and will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover bats that have been used in commercial batting cages.  It does not cover chipping or scratches.  It does not cover any shipping to our factory.  

Warranty only covers bats purchased from authorized Akadema dealers. The warranty does not cover any bat purchased from a non-authorized seller, including but not limited to sellers operating on a third-party auction site unless they are authorized Akadema dealers. Contact Akadema at Akadema@akademapro.com If you need clarification on whether a particular retailer is an authorized Akadema dealer.

  1. Email akadema@akademapro.com to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please have the following information ready: model#, length, weight, and date purchased.
  2. Once you receive your RA# and return instructions, send your bat along with a valid proof of purchase (sales receipt) from an authorized dealer to the Warranty Department.
  3. If the bat is deemed defective, Akadema will send out a repaired or replacement bat.

If the bat does not meet Akadema requirements, it will be returned to you in its condition after inspection.

Stock Baseball Gloves:

9 Months from the date of purchase with a receipt.
Warranty includes: Ripping or tears.
Does not include laces.
Does not include scuffing on leather, scuffing or cracking on welting or binding.
We will repair products or replace them at our discretion.
Limit one replacement.

 

Personalized and Custom gloves:

We will replace any custom/personalized glove with a stock glove of equal value from 9 Months from the date of purchase with a receipt. We will not remake your custom or personalized glove.

Warranty includes: Ripping or tears in the glove. Does not include broken laces, scuffing on leather , scuffing or cracking on welting or binding.

 

Bat Bags:

120 day warranty from the date of purchase with a receipt.

Warranty includes: Zippers, ripping or tears. There is only 1 replacement bag to be issued.

 

Footwear:

120 day warranty from the date of purchase with a receipt.

Warranty includes: Ripping or tears. There is only 1 replacement pair to be issued.

Does not include wear for pitchers who do not protect the shoe from “pitchers toe”.

 

Eyewear:

30 days from the date of purchase with receipt. Includes cracked frames or lenses

 

No Warranty:

Wood Bats
Batting gloves
Laces
Wrist Bands
Hats
T-Shirts

Custom Embellishment Products cannot be returned due to customer mistake or embellishment process:

Custom orders (apparel, uniforms or product) that are filled correctly and are embellished (embroidery, engraving, screened, heat transferred, cut , or painted to your specifications ) cannot be returned if you find the sizing or fit is incorrect in the case of the customer orders wrong . These items are built to order. Mistakes by customer cannot be taken back for the simple reason that there is no way for Akadema to resell items with your name or organization on our product and is not a part of catalog.

Colors may slightly be different than your logo as threads, paints and printing colors are sometimes hard to match. Computer screens may also distort the color spectrum. If you have PMS or Pantone color that will help the process but won’t always be exact. Printing may fade on uniforms or in some case may bleed through uniforms (especially through red base colors, and through camo shirts). This is the nature of the embellishment dyeing process where natural and synthetic materials along with coloring may not mix well. We will do our best to ensure they won’t bleed through but cannot guarantee it won’t.

 

Custom Orders cannot be changed or be refunded once placed:

You must know that once you order your custom item, we will give you an estimate on the time it will take to make these items. We do everything in our power to make that happen. Unfortunately, events beyond our control may delay items from making these estimates. Once placed, custom order materials are purcured and work generally starts immediately unless this is a team spirit order in which a start date is issued on the website . Once we start, we cannot change nor stop the process.

 

Closeout Items:

Closeout items. There is no warranty, returns or refunds on closeout items bought from akademapro.com. These products are purchased “as is”

 

Order Processing:

Orders placed prior to 9:00AM EST will be processed the same day. Orders placed with expedited shipping (UPS Next Day Air Early AM, UPS Next Day Air, UPS Second Day Air, and UPS Three Day Select) prior to 12:00PM EST will be shipped the same day. UPS and USPS do not count the day of shipping, Saturday or Sunday as shipping days.

 

Custom and Closeout Item Shipping:

Please note some items like custom gloves, bats, uniforms, team orders, and closeout items will note on our website that the product will take days if not weeks to complete in our factory or transfer from other locations. No rush production completion service is implied with selecting an expedited shipping service. Upon completion or transfer of the product in our warehouse we will ship the product to you with the shipping service you selected.     

 

Returns (only for Akademapro.com):

Within 30 days of product receipt purchased on akademapro.com: Akadema will accept only unused products and will offer a full product refund or store credit. This does not include shipping costs back to us. “Gently used” products will not be accepted. Closeout items are not accepted.

From 31-60 days of product receipt for products purchased on akademapro.com: Akadema will offer a store credit. This does not include shipping costs back to us. Only unused items are eligible for a return. Closeout Items are not accepted.

After 60 days of product receipt: We will not accept any returns.

Shipping charges on returns either to or from a customer are not refunded.  The Refund will only consider the actual cost of the goods and  not consider consequential damages, inconveniences, damages, duty or customs fees, or misuse of product.

 

Price Protection(only for Akademapro.com):

Price Protection Policy:  
Buy with confidence from Akademapro.com.  If an item you have purchased goes on sale on akademapro.com website for a lower price within 7 days of your Akademapro.com purchase, Akadema will refund the difference in a store credit.  Unless otherwise stated, promotions with a specific time window will be honored under the Price Protection policy only if the receipt/claim is presented during the promotional time window.  Price protection only includes the item itself and does not include any offers on shipping.
